How it works:
Ultra-short laser pulses softly vaporize a microscopic volume of skin, turning it to plasma
Resulting plasma emits light as it cools down
The unique fingerprint of this light is acquired by a spectrometer
The spectrum is analyzed for biomarkers corresponding to skin anomalies
